Kanlıca Yalı

Kanlıca Yalı is an A+ Grade heritage waterfront mansion in Kanlıca on Istanbul's Asian Bosphorus. Kanlıca is renowned for its concentration of intact Ottoman-era yalı mansions — the most photographed historic stretch on the Asian side — and its centuries-old yogurt tradition served at waterfront cafés.

The yalı dates to the late Ottoman period, featuring the area's signature wooden façade with deep eaves and wide bay windows projecting over the Bosphorus. Restoration preserved the original timber structure, painted ceilings, and intricate carved woodwork while introducing climate-controlled discreet modern systems behind the heritage envelope.
